The Curious and Providential Journey of Anthony Watson
Greetings to all. Anthony Watson here and all I can say is that I am just shocked and amazed at the developments that have taken place over the last 4 months. First and foremost, David and Michael, if either of you ever get around to checking this thing, I hope both of you are having a good year so far. I can't believe how much things can change in a relatively short period of time, but that's life. Never would I have expected that by the start of this year that I would be attending my parent's old alma mater and be in another state going to college(especially after I began my college career at Baylor). But I know the good Lord will work everything out and has had this plan unfolding for quite some time now. David, I finally got around to reading your tale of the "Last Night" in 117 and I must say that it was very touching. You're absolutely right, there will never be another Martin 117 quite like our tandem and I am proud to say I knew you guys (Oh yeah, we can't forget the fourth unofficial member: Dan the Destroyer). Well everybody, that's about all I have to contribute to the pot in this session, so in psuedo dramatic style, THIS IS ANTHONY WATSON SIGNING OFF FROM JACKSON, MISSISSIPPI. Take care everybody.

Quote of the Day: "We're back. In black."
Feeling: Hot dyamn baby!
Okay, so my last post wasn't quite my last. I've become a tech junkie
now- about a few weeks ago, while driving around my neighborhood, I
came upon a house with a couple of computers sitting out in the sun,
waiting with the rest of the trash. Being the computer guy I am, I
stopped and looted their trash. After stealing said computers, I
stripped them down- and used their components to construct a new
machine. That's right- Dave now has his second personal machine- decked
out with a P4 2.4, 512 meg a of ram, with a 15 year old floppy drive,
and a case that's 8 years old running. Of course... the operating
system is Linux. In fact, I'm typing this up directly from the machine.
And as if that wasn't enough- I'm now fully able to play two computer
games simultaneously. How's that for gamers? :D
I'm in heaven- just felt the need to post it. ;)

| How to interpret your Profile Score: |
| |
Your highest score indicates your primary love language. Your second highest score indicates your secondary love language. If two scores are identical, you are bilingual (you have two primary love languages). If the scores of your primary and your secondary language are close (for example, 10 & 9 respectfully), it indicates both are important to you. Whatever a significant other does to express love in either of these languages will get emotional points with you. The highest possible score for any language is 12. |
| |
Having a clear picture of your primary & secondary love languages will explain much of your past behavior Think back over the past and ask yourself "What have I most often requested from significant others?" Chances are your answer will lie within the scope of your primary & secondary love languages. You have been requesting that which would meet your deepest need for emotional love.
| Michael: Exactly eleven days after June 11th. I'm thinking about branching off with my own xanga website. This site is dedicated to Anthony, David, and I, but I have been the only one to post lately--maybe it's time to get my own.
Not a lot has changed lately. I still work at Phase 2. I also take care of my grandma occasionally, and today I start house-sitting. I don't sit at their house, but everyday I check on it, take in the mail, and feed the dog. It's pretty easy and enjoyable. More importantly I get paid. I'm saving up money to split the price of a Dell laptop with my mom. I still have a little ways to go in order to pay for half of the laptop, but I'm almost there. It's already ordered and should be here soon.
Note: If you just graduated from high school or will graduate soon, don't buy a desktop if you're not a serious gamer, or if you're going into business. I bought a desktop from Dell thinking I was going to play lots of video games on it--it didn't happen. My desktop suited my computing needs, but lacked the mobility of a laptop, which I enjoy after using my mom's laptop (the one I'm currently on). So if you're not a big gamer or if you're going into business, go with a laptop--not a desktop.
I lucked out though. My mom needs a better computer at her office, so she is going to take my desktop and she is paying for half of my new laptop as I already said. If she didn't need a computer at her office, I probably wouldn't have bought a new laptop because I already had a computer. So I did luck out. Pretty cool huh?
I wrote a discourse, another name for a sermon but I don't like using religious words very much, on Christian Dating. I was planning on posting it on here, but I just realized that I don't think that's possible. Maybe I could find a place where I could upload it on the internet. I think I should do that. Maybe I could start a website with a bunch of different discourses--I need to find something else to call them--and could post them on it. I enjoyed writing it, and I think I would enjoy doing it again. I enjoyed writing an email to my friend Debra on the topic of physical healing also. She said it "rocked her socks off." Yes, this would seem like the next step for me. I enjoy philosophy, I like to speak to large audiences, though I don't get the chance to very often, and I like to write on certain topics. Not only that, but I write well. Those three seem to go together--philosophy, speaking, and writing. How about that? I can see the headline now: "While writing on his xanga site, boy genius decides to publish." Just kidding. I'm not a genius yet. Potentially someday. But the plan seems like "a go".
